Fun with the cousins...

We were so lucky to get a visit from Brandon, Tanya, Madesyn & Kyla...we got to see the OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry), have an awesome B Day Steak dinner for Tanya, go bowling and check out where parts of Twilight was filmed. Griff loved hanging with the cousins and was so sad to see them go.

Happy Valentines Day

Mr Griffith had so much fun making valentines this year, he loved helping put the suckers in the pictures. But he couldn't figure out why we had to give all those suckers away!!! He'd much rather try to eat them all I am sure.

California Dreamin'

Griff and Mommy got to take a weekend to visit The Leni's/Gand's in Granite Bay, CA. We were lucky enough to be joined to Allie & Adeline as well so it made for a festivus!! From the awesome breakfast, to the DDD dining adventure, to Pop Pop's BB Game and thru the Jelly Belly Factory!!! What a great time we had.

From the Coast to the Mountains

Jade came to visit so we of course had to hit the coast (Seaside) and then venture up to Multnomah Falls for some adventure. We got some wonderful sunshine at the coast and couldnt keep Griff out of the water he was soaked head to toe in a matter of minutes.

Then it was off to hiking the falls just over a mile up with 11 switchbacks (I wanted to call it a day at switchback 2) and I wasn't even packing Griff in the back pack (thanks auntie Jade). It was well worth the hike for sure.

Vrrrrooooommmm - off to sleep I go

Griff passed a major milestone by learning how to jump out of the crib, so we upgraded to a big boy bed. And what big boy wouldn't love a car bed outfitted with wheels and all. Thanks to Auntie Jade for her help lugging it up stairs and putting it together :-) He loves it and so far he is great at going to bed in it - that is until about 1 AM when he somehow makes it into our bed every night.

Rocking Griff

Griff was fascinated by this chair when we visiting Brandon, Tanya, Madesyn and Kyla over Christmas time in Bellingham. He loved it so much that uncle Brandon let him take it home. It is now his new favorite place to sit.

Also check out his adorable shirt, our friend Ronda who lives in Colorado made this for him. What a tough guy already!!!

Time for a snowman

We woke up to about 1 foot of snow in our little town of Saint Helens, OR and what else are we to do but bundle up and head outside for some fun and snowman building.

I'd say we did a pretty good job, but daddy says that mommy needs a bit of help on the next one. Apparently they need to be much bigger and use carrots and things like that. I guess I am a snowman builder in training.
