Christmas 2011 in Bellingham
We ventured up to "heaven" aka Bellingham, WA for Christmas this year. It was great to see all the Ingrams with lots of cousins and 2 new additions to the family this year, too. YEAH!!!
Griff was spoiled on all accounts and loved every minute of it. Though he thinks the toys, games, etc are very cool I'd have to say the wrapping paper and boxes were the highlight of his 2nd christmas. We were lucky enough to spend Christmas morning with our cousins Madesyn and Kyla. We got to watch them open presents from Santa and Griff found some as well.
Griff got the Rockin' Elmo and loves to swipe the microphone from Elmo and sing his own tune while dancing. A little rocker already.
He got so many presents delivered to the house this year from all the family that we didn't get a chance to see. We LOVED all the presents and couldn't wait to open the boxes an play with everything. We sure did miss everyone in Utah, Iowa, Hawaii, California...and wanted to say THANKS for such awesome gifts. We will have lots to do in the days and weeks ahead.
Auntie Shelby and her artistic self made this picture for Griff!! We had to hang it up ASAP right above his bed so he can say Good Morning and Good Night to his Motorcycle every day.
To cap it off we had an Ugly Sweater Christmas Eve with the Ingrams, gotta love our sytling outfits. I think Griff had the best one of all it's a humpty dumpty sweater.

For an early Christmas Present Grammie and Grandpa Stowe took the whole family to a cruise down to Mexico. What a blast we had with the family and Griff LOVED hanging with the cousins.

The Slide....
Go figure that my baby (I guess I should say Big Boy now) would LOVE the slide in Grammie's house. He found it very quickly and with some coaching from Daddy figured out how to do it ALL BY HIMSELF!!! Yikes for mommy. What a big boy and dare devil he is becoming...

Thanksgiving 2011 in Utah
We headed to Utah for Thanksgiving this year with Lindsey's family...and of course that means lots of fun and lots of toys. Griff had to try all the ones with wheels for sure:
Grandpa Keith's Harley - Vroom VroomThe scooter was a hit as well because Griff could stand up and hold on to the handle bars while daddy scootered around the block.
Of course daddy had to get in on the fun with his Honda newly fixed up and Griff loved riding on this one as well.
Lindsey and Griff headed to town a week early to visit Adeline and AJ, we had a great time staying at there house and handing with them. They are getting to old it is amazing. We headed out to Jungle Jims for a day of fun and Griff loved the Jeeps. He wanted to keep going on the over and over.
Mr AJ found a Olympus Titan hat for Griff too so he can be a super star like AJ.

Griff can WALK!!!
Mr Griff has spent several weeks teasing us - while he knows how to take steps he preferred to sit down and crawl to everything. That was until now....he decided it was time to WALK around and we love it. Here is a snap shot of the super star (still a little wobbly yet) but we are very PROUD!!

My buddy and me
Griff has grown fond of the doggies - he waves goodnight to them when he goes down for a nap or for the night and gives them pets. He even knows how to tell them to sit. But I caught a special moment where he crawled up to scruffy and gave him a kiss on the head. Good to see he loves them as much as mommy and daddy do.

Weekend Getaway to Mt. Hood
We headed out of St. Helens for a scenic drive along the river to Mt. Hood.
It was a beautiful drive.
Along the way we found a cool, old train bridge.
Here is the bridge again and you can also see some of the leaves starting to change color.
We found the Harvest Festival in Hood River and had to stop for some fun, food and music.
Griff loved the kids play land.
We made it up to Cooper Spur where we spent the night in a cool hotel cabin.
What an adventure.

Portland Adventures
We decided to head into the big city and see what kind of fun things we could find. And we were not disappointed.
First stop the Grilled Cheese Bus - There is a food truck craze going on here these days and we had to get in on the action. Griff loved the bus the most. We went with our new friends Brooke and Avi - (Avi's dad works with Shannon)
Next stop the infamous - VOODOO Doughnuts - Yes that is the line to get in the door. It wraps around the building but didn't take more than 30 mins and the pregnant lady was happy to wait to try the maple/bacon bar...I also loved the apple fritter. The logo around town is Keep Portland Weird so I am always trying to capture the Weird stuff....more to come I am sure.
Then it was off to the children's museum - which was fantastic.
