XMas Bunko - Cocktail Party

We got to get all gussied up, get together and exchange some fun gifts....thank goodness I got a picture because the suit and tie came off w/in the first 20 minutes.

Ugly Sweater Party....

We decided to celebrate christmas

this year with an Ugly Sweater Party. It was LOTS of fun and there were some creative and ugly sweaters. Alisi won the prize for the ugliest sweater. Way to go!!!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from the Ingram's (still getting used to the new last name) and of course we had to include our herd. Scruffy of course sat still and wore the Santa Hat like a champ...Jay Jay didn't know what was going on so Shannon had to hold on to her collar. Our newest addition, Napolean (the Kitty) wasn't having it at all, I think Shannon has a few scratch marks from him. Then there's our Tui Lui (as an elf)....pretty much P.O.'d that he had to wear the hat and sit near the cat.

In the end we got one eyes front photo and LOTS OF LAUGHS while taking it!!!

Mexico - X Mas 2009

shannon and went thru a Cenote, very cool, you have to walk thru with a flashlight because it is very dark and in some places the water was up to our chins. In the end it opens up to a deep, blue pool of water with an opening that to the blue sky.

Our day at Xel-Ha, lots of sun & fun. Here Adeline and Kalen try to cross the rope bridge. Shelby actually made the the farthest...GO GIRL.

Hanging on the Akumal Beach outside our house, shannon and I whipped up some Pina Colada's with the Fresh Coconut's the gardner got for use. Whoo.....slow down girls!!!

New addition to the ZOO...

and you wonder why I call it KoOkOoViLle...I mean really 3 doggies (plus one visiting doggie) and a baby kitty and what do you get. SCRATCH MARKS!!! We inherited a kitty, named him Napoleon, and are hoping he mixes in well. Seems to be doing well already!!

I had some fun (really i think moving furniture and organizing is fun) and re-arranged my living room....I LOVE IT!! Makes it more open and inviting and I get to hang by the fireplace just in time for winter.

Sushi Night...YUMMY

Well, our FAVORITE sushi Wen left Tepanyaki...we are so sad to see him go and MISS his sushi dumplings, sushi cake and all. We decided to give sushi making a try ourselves. It was lots of fun and Shannon's roll ended up being AWESOME! We will for sure try it again soon.

Halloween - New Orleans Style

halloween...new orleans style. shannon headed out to the mardi gras state for some good cajun food, great music and fun with his friends. Of course being halloween a costume was a must...oh la la.

then off to the costa rican sun...

we spent out honeymoon in costa rica...a mix of adventure and relaxation but what more could you expect from us :-)

Married....WAHOO!!!

so for the formalities....we tied the knot on Sept 12, 2009. It was a beautiful day, lots of happy tears and very fond memories.

Birthday Fun with Grammie...

We love to get together for any type of reason!!! This event was for our "Grammie" as Bellah Boo would say.  Tearing up Thanksgiving Point on the jam packed golf cart....lots of fun!!!

our favorite past time...tubing (or should i say tipping) anyone???

we travel with tubes (and now life jackets) up Provo canyon several times a year to face the wacky, wild and not so raging river for a tubing adventure. I personally like to hook all the tubes together and float as a large BLOB...but apparently this causes issues and slows the speed demons down (i mean, really how freaking fast do you think you can go on a tube, it's much more fun to float slowly and bump into EVERYTHING...including fisherman on the way).

OK..really only Shannon could find the adventure w/in an adventure....the low hanging branch...OF DEATH...for your view pleasure :-)

Hanging with Auntie Koo Koo!!!

So I guess you can tell who runs the show, I was lucky enough to get to hang with Bellah Boo for a weekend....(Seriously Grandpa, how are we supposed to compete with that) too much fun!!!

It's a doggie dog world...

so the dogs have taken over the house......but we love them that's for sure....and little ms JayJay loves to eat up my pillows....yes that is tonz of pillow stuffings all over my floor...YIKES!!!

We're Engaged.....

I might just be the happiest girl in town these days....Shannon and I got engaged.  It's fun, exciting and scary thinking of all the planning that is ahead but I feel so lucky to have a life with Shannon to look forward to...Thanks to all the family and friends who have sent me congrats.....we'll keep you updated on the wedding date.....P.S. picture is a bit fuzzy but you get the idea.  It is a beautiful blue diamond....

OK...so as a ode to all things wilderness and the fact that I am thrilled Shannon got a permanent position in Salt Lake City I splurged on a new wilderness toy...of course it had to be what I wanted and fun for all so the decision to get the Hot Pink Polaris RZR was made....Check it out..it's a lot of fun....

Floors...done at last

I guess that they fail to mention the hard part is all the finish and trim pieces.  The floor went in like a charm but the rest took a bit of time and patience from Shannon.  But at last the final trim was tacked down and I had a whole new room to re-arrange (and clean...wow the dust).  Anyway here's the final look.....

Its official...Tui Lui has OCD...

Like mother like doggies...my poor little pug has managed to lick his front lip so compulsively that he now has been deemed "STRESSED" and has to start on anti stress medication today.  Mind you, i have to pick it up from the real pharmacy...what am I going to do with this little one...guess the days of relaxing by the fire are over for him :-)

How to get a new floor...

First...Buy a house with cream carpet in the main living / walking area,  then get 2 dogs and for the heck of it add in 1 PUPPY then host lots of fun events, followed by winter snow mixing into the dirt you might call a back yard.  All that combined makes lovely two tone trail thru the beautiful CREAM carpet.  Anyway, next step is to find what you like, price it out and then while the boyfriend is relaxing and reading a book on a beautiful sunday morning, secretly sneak out, move all the furniture and start ripping up the CREAM carpet. (and by luck get his 2 co-workers in town to help for the day...Thanks Todd & Stevie!!!) Funny how it works...2 days later I have an almost complete beautiful Antique Hickory laminate wood floor.  In just a couple days when the trim gets here and we rent a compressor to nail it in it will be done...hmm what do I want done next.  Paint the bathroom, re-tile the fireplace, so many to start :-)

Wii Yoga...tough guy style

My secret new favorite thing to do....Wii Yoga.  It is really fun an keeps me feeling good.  But one night I got the boys to give it a shot.  LOL!!! Nothing like the half moon pose tough guy style.  Wolf and Shannon with Kyle giving us the killer look in the background.  Wow my life is entertaining....

Valentines.....I am spoiled...

So my little sweetie did a good job this year...I got some beautiful flowers and he cooked me an amazing steak and shrimp dinner.  We stayed at home and relaxed while watching a movie.  So happy that I have a sweetie to spend valentines day with...and he dresses up pretty spiffy too!!!!

Diet - Day 3

ok...so the meatloaf..YUCK, poor shannon is getting teased a bit by the boys at work since he told them i put him on a diet...i guess they think i have some kind of control....LOL!!!  anyway it's going good, so far no slip up's and for me the food is not too bad (for shannon i'd say tolerable is an overstatement)......well i will keep on pluggin and see where it get me.....

Fat Flush Diet...here we come....

ok...so shannon and i are starting the fat flush diet this week...yikes. started off with a cran-water flaxseed drink @ 6 AM.  YUMMY, huh.  anyway gotta get some of the winter belly off for summer. who knows what river i'll be tubing, or sand dune we'll be camping at this year....wish us luck... 

Mini Hitler

Ok, so my little Tui Lui is stressed beyond belief.  He has given himself 2 little sores on his lips that make him look like hitler. I took him to the vet and seriously the vet told me he could shorten his tongue (with a laugh) or give him anti-stress medicine...I guess my little one has OCD.  Just like his mamma.....LOL!!!  His poor little life of snuggling with mom, relaxing and being the couch ornament is over.  With JayJay hoping on him, being kicked out of the bed and having to snarf down his food he must just be the worlds most stressed dog....grandma ilene...do you want to adopt him?  he may defect from me easier than I'd like to believe.
